I have been a fan of the UFC since the first one was out on VHS and everything MMA fighting since. But I just can't get into TUF. Maybe I'm just not feelin' it. Or could be the whole reality TV thing is just getting old to me. Not sure.

Hi Dave,
If you said that 2 weeks ago people would have thought you were crazy. But now people are all jumping on the bandwagon. Personally I have been waiting for a performance like this from Machida. The last time we saw him fight like he did against Thiago Silva, was against Rich Franklin. That fight was many moons ago. Its good to see Machida perform like that athlete we all know he is.
Thanks again for the comments. Keep Reading

Hi Dave,
Thank you very much for the comment. My self growing up in New England. Once I started to compete in grappling tournaments. Joe and his brother were household names. Stephens is a tough guy, I just think his submission defense and wrestling ability are not where they should be. At least in a fight against someone with the pedigree of Joe.

I am looking at Lyoto Machida to move to the top of this list in a short time. Once he gets a championship fight he will clearly stand out in the front of this pack.

I think you called this fight spot on. Joe does focus more on the submission wins rather than the KO. I don't think Stephens will just lay down. It will be a good fight.

Hey Luke,
Ill be the first to say I made a bold statement. I really thought BJ would have progressed even further in his game since the Sherk fight. Especially due to the fact that GSP is a more formidable opponent. It did not turn out that way at all. I felt he looked worse in the GSP fight then he did against Sherk. I know this will be the last time BJ moves up in weight. He needs to stay at lightweight and dominate until he retires. This also really makes a GSP vs. Anderson Silva fight more of a possibility. Lets just wait to see what unfolds.
Thanks for the comment

I completely agree with both of your comments Dave. Jon Jones took out a very game veteran in Stephan Bonnar. His first victory was also impressive over Andre' Gusmao. I would like to see a fight between Jones and Ryan Bader. I would like to see who would out wrestle who, and give Jones a chance to see another young powerful wrestler. As for Guida, its only a matter of time before he gets a stiff jab to the face. Which throws his hair in his face, and stuns him at the same time. I see a potential vicious KO is that should ever happen. I lost the GSP fight I did have BJ beating him. I really thought BJ would have progressed further since the Sherk fight. I actually feel he took a step back since then. Hopefully this will be a lesson to BJ. Stay within your weight class.
Thanks for the comments

I had GSP, and Machida winning their fights. My suprise was Jon Jones, he looked good and could be a star in the making for future fights. I agree about Clay Guida. He does need to cut that hair though, it's eventually going to lose a fight for him.
